The Siege of Alesia

It is 52 BC. You are Gaius Julius Caesar, commanding 60,000 Roman legionaries in central Gaul. The Gallic chieftain Vercingetorix has retreated with 80,000 warriors into the hilltop fortress of Alesia after his defeat at Gergovia's aftermath. A massive Gallic relief army — estimated at 250,000 — is being assembled across Gaul to break your siege.

You must take Alesia. Failure means the loss of Gaul and likely the end of your career.
