The Gallic chieftain Vercingetorix has retreated with 80,000 warriors into the hilltop fortress of Alesia after his defeat at Gergovia's aftermath. A massive Gallic relief army — estimated at 250,000 — is being assembled across Gaul to break your siege.
You must take Alesia. Failure means the loss of Gaul and likely the end of your career.
